The Children...

 

Children are placed in three different class levels – dependant on their age and ability – although they are often mixed together. The age for children to start school in Kenya is between the ages of 6 and 7; many of our pre-unit children are already at that age or above:
 

- Pre-unit is the equivalent of kindergarten with children usually aged between 5-6 years of age.

- Nursery class is also similar to kindergarten, with children usually aged 3-4 years of age.

- Baby class is for children aged usually between 2-3 years of age.

 

There are currently 60 children who attend Little Ray of Hope, as of May 2019
